SAM Meyn will be running for a lot more than pride in this weekend's Newcastle Herald Hill to Harbour. The East Maitland woman will be running the half-marathon with a group to raise money for the Harry Meyn Memorial Foundation's Harry's House project, which will offer a retreat for children recovering from cancer, and their families.Mrs Meyn, who is the foundation's secretary-treasurer, ran the 10 kilometres last year but decided to tackle the half-marathon in 2011 before construction of Harry's House begins in a few weeks."We've found it's a great way to raise awareness," she said."It's really rewarding to be amongst it, and it seems like a walk in the park compared to what some other people go through."I have to tell my muscles that, though."The fifth Herald Hill to Harbour will step off this Sunday.Late entries are available by filling out an entry form and taking it to Foreshore Park between 2pm and 5pm Saturday or early Sunday morning.Entry forms and details available at heraldhilltoharbour.net.
